Terms of Service — Bring Study

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Bring Study. By accessing or using our website and application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Nature of the Bring Study Service

Bring Study is a matching platform designed to connect parents and students with independent home tutors. We provide the technology and platform to facilitate these connections. We do not provide tutoring services directly, and we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

3. Registration and Account Security

To use our platform, you must register as either a Parent or a Tutor and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Parent/Student Responsibilities

By registering as a Parent or Student, you agree to:

Provide accurate academic requirements to ensure accurate matchmaking.
Provide a safe, secure, respectful, and appropriate home environment for tutoring sessions.
Maintain punctuality for scheduled sessions. A minimum notice of 2 hours must be given directly to the tutor for session cancellations or rescheduling.
Treat tutors professionally and respectfully.
Pay the tutor the agreed-upon rates as negotiated or shown on the platform.
Not misuse the personal or contact information of the tutor.

5. Tutor Responsibilities

By registering as a Tutor, you acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee of Bring Study. You agree to:

Provide accurate qualifications, experience, and availability.
Submit truthful verification documents.
Maintain professional conduct and deliver high-quality instruction.
Maintain punctuality for all scheduled sessions.
Respect parents and students at all times.
Protect student and parent personal information and not misuse contact information.
Adhere to the platform's pricing and service fee structures.
Be solely responsible for your own income taxes and professional liabilities.

6. Tutor Verification and Credentials

To maintain platform trust, Bring Study may require tutors to upload optional verification documents (such as government-issued IDs, e.g., Aadhaar card) and academic resumes. These documents are securely stored and used strictly by authorized personnel for identity and credential verification. Submitting false, forged, or misleading documents will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

7. Matching, Communication and Sessions

Bring Study facilitates the matching of parents and tutors based on subjects, location, and requirements. We protect user privacy by only disclosing necessary contact and location information once a match is accepted. Any in-app messaging or chat must be used professionally and respectfully.

8. Fees, Payments and Platform Rules

Bring Study charges tutors specific platform fees (such as registration or lead-unlock fees) which are processed securely through our platform. However, all actual tutoring and session payments are negotiated and settled directly between the Parent and the Tutor. Bring Study does not process, hold, or guarantee direct tuition payments. Direct offline settlements intended to bypass the platform's legitimate service and lead-unlock fees are strictly prohibited and will lead to account termination.

9. Prohibited Conduct and Safety

You agree not to engage in conduct that creates a safety risk or harms the platform's community. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: harassment, abuse, fraud, impersonation, misrepresentation, sharing inappropriate or illegal content, misusing personal information, and attempting to bypass legitimate platform rules.

10. User Content and Information

You retain ownership of the information and profile media you provide. By uploading content (such as profile photos), you grant Bring Study a license to display it within the platform to facilitate matching. We do not require broad access to your device's photo gallery; you simply select the specific images you wish to upload.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and block access to our platform if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that harms the platform's community or reputation.

12. Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account at any time by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account within the app, or by visiting our Account Deletion Page. Account deletion requests enter a 14-day recovery period, after which our automated systems permanently erase your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bring Study shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform. We do not guarantee academic outcomes, and we are not liable for scheduling conflicts, direct disputes, or the actions of independent tutors or parents.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
